Punisher is the usual death avatar for goombahs in this one, but the star of the show is bullseye. Marvel's joker, he's recently assumed epically homicidal proportions. For example, in one bit bulleye's pondering why the punisher hasn't opened fire, "Well, he hasn't attacked yet...but that's probably because he knows I'll start wasting civilians." It's a very violent, high body count affair with flawless kinetic timing. Every time I read it, it renders itself right before my eyes as a big budget, summer blockbuster.
Some of the best smashmouth action comics available and Messieurs Way and Dillon execute with panache on psycho versus "joker". Eerily similar to Supreme Power: Nighthawk, both written in 2006 by this team and both hella awesome.
